The Zapp house is named after Walter Zapp, an inventor and constructor of Baltic German origin. Walter Zapp is the creator of the famous Minox spy camera, known from the Bond movie, which historians of photography and technology have called a genius invention.
The former Dvigatel factory building, built in 1900, was reconstructed in 2008 and is used today as an office building and conference center.
On the first floor of Zapp House, there is a buffet-style restaurant and a gourmet burger cafe, whose kitchens are ready to serve thousands of customers a day. Conference and meeting rooms of various sizes are located on the second floor, and offices are on the third floor. In the center of the house is a three-story high atrium with skylights, which offers a large amount of space and light and allows for a balcony walk around the atrium. The restaurant on the first floor opens to the park on both sides of the building, where it is nice to enjoy lunch in the summer.
Well-known IT companies such as Nortal and Helmes are located in the building.
The building has been issued a LEED Silver certificate. On weekdays, a reception assistant greets you at the D entrance of the first floor of the building where is also an elevator. Entrance to the building is secured with a card system 24/7.

Ülemiste City is located at the artery of transport options, with Tallinn Airport on one side and the future Rail Baltic and bus terminal on the other. The harbor is only a 10-minute drive away from the campus, and Tallinn’s main routes Peterburi road and Tartu highway right at the doorstep.
You can travel here from any part of the Tallinn by tram or bus, while saving urban space and nature. The tram line is currently suspended, due to the Rail Baltica construction, but will reopen in 2026.
